The wines Join us on Tuesday October 2 from 6:00-8:00 as we co-host a wine tasting with Laird Family Estate of Napa Valley. The Laird Family is the largest vineyard holder in Napa Valley. After 30 years of supplying grapes for some of the best producers in California, the Lairds built their own winery and began bottling a small portion of their own wines in 1999. Today these wines are recognized as among the best of Napa. Laird bottles single variety wines almost exclusively (there is one blend) and all but one of their bottlings come from a single vineyard. As the winery is located in the cooler subregion of Oak Knoll, the grapes retain very strong varietal signatures but they are also quite concetrated and substantial. There is no cost for the casual, walk-through tasting and it promises to be a fun and informative evening.
